Electrical work for homes and businesses
Greenbank Solar provides electrical assessments and installation work alongside solar and battery systems. We discuss the existing supply, equipment condition and the work you need before defining the scope. Customers in Greenbank, New Beith, Boronia Heights, Browns Plains, Jimboomba and Flagstone can enquire about site availability.
Domestic electrical services
Ask about circuit additions, switchboard work, fault finding and electrical upgrades associated with new equipment. Adding an appliance, battery or EV charger can change the demand on your supply. A site assessment determines whether existing circuits and protection are suitable or whether additional work is required.
Commercial electrical work
Commercial projects need consideration of operating hours, access, electrical demand and disruption to the business. Tell us about the site, the equipment being added and any restrictions on downtime. The proposal should clearly identify what is being installed and how the work will be coordinated.
EV charger installation
Choosing a charger starts with the vehicle, parking location and electrical supply. Available charging speed is limited by both the vehicle and the installation. We assess the switchboard, cable route, load management and whether solar-aware charging is appropriate. A higher-rated charger does not guarantee that the vehicle will charge at that rate.
Discuss future vehicles and any planned battery storage before finalising the charger. An integrated plan can help avoid unnecessary changes later, but compatibility must be checked for the specific equipment. Read our solar guide and battery storage guide.
Switchboards and existing installations
Older switchboards and wiring may need additional work when new equipment is connected. We assess the actual installation and applicable requirements before defining an upgrade. A solar quote does not automatically include replacement of the whole switchboard or unrelated circuits; the agreed scope and any variations should identify the necessary work.
Fault finding and service enquiries
Provide the equipment details, fault description and when the issue started. Tell us about recent electrical work, storms or changes at the property so the investigation can consider the full history. Avoid opening equipment or attempting electrical repairs. If there is an immediate danger, keep clear and arrange urgent assistance.
